The IMF analysts expect that the Cypriot GDP will grow by 0.3% and unemployment will reach 4.6% in 2009. The Economic Analysis and Research Service of Hellenic Bank anticipates that growth rate will reach 1% in 2009.

According to the report, the IMF expects that GDP growth will drop to 0.3% in 2009 from 3.7% last year, while in its latest review, Hellenic Bank anticipates a growth rate of 1% and an increase in unemployment.
